How do you do that ?
The first step is to decide on the content of your website. The website pages are then programmed and the graphics produced. After that an address is secured and your website is published on the Internet.
Will this consume time from my busy schedule ?
Not much. All you have to do is describe your business to us and we will do the rest. If you have a catalog or other current advertising we can incorporate this material into your website. If you have nothing of this nature then we will build up an image for your company from scratch. We will submit various ideas for your approval, the process will take up very little of your time.
What type of address should I have ?
You can have either a virtual address (www.yourname.com) or non-virtual (www.hostname.com/yourname). There are advantages to both kinds. With a virtual address, your business stands alone without providing any links to related companies. This gives you a powerful, independent presence but it also limits your traffic to those who know where to find your website. A non-virtual site, a network of related businesses, may bring in more customers to your site because the network will offer a greater variety of options to the consumer.
After the website is published, then what ?
It depends on the nature of the website. Some sites are there just to provide information about a company. These are low maintenance sites with low overhead and low monthly charges. Other sites offer retail sales over the Internet (mail order) and require constant monitoring. If you want a retail sales site, we will set it up for you and provide training for your staff so that you can manage the operation yourself.
